Foresight Finances provided me with a template I needed to be able to track and highlight both my income and my expenditure in order to create a personal budget. This budget allows me to save not only for emergencies but for holidays, gifts, and bookshopping sprees every now and then.
Using their template, I was able to identify expenditure I wasn't aware of, such as subscriptions that I was no longer using. I was immediately able to save around $60 a month. This is money that I can now put towards savings, groceries, or treating myself to a coffee at work.
It also helped me build confidence in my understanding of my own finances, and calculate my net worth, which helped me realise that I am in a better place financially than I thought I was.
